On the eve of World Alzheimer's Day, the evening begins with a short sharing on dementia by Bernard Lim, Director of Advocacy & Communications, before we roll five films that together run approximately 100 minutes.
A Singapore Dementia Story is an anthology presented by Lien Foundation and Dementia Singapore, and produced by veteran producer Daniel Yun. Going beyond the diagnosis, these five short films celebrate the resilience, humour, and unwavering love of caregivers and persons living with dementia — spanning romance, comedy, thriller, and animation. In honour of World Alzheimer's Day on 21 September, the Cloud Pagoda will be lit up in yellow and purple — the colours of the global dementia movement.
