Come together for a host of fun and exciting activities celebrating Chinese arts, culture and heritage at Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival 2026 @ Chinese Garden!
Visitors can enjoy a vibrant variety of hands-on activities at the Bonsai Garden and Tea Pavilion, including lantern making, hanfu dress-up and photography, heritage discovery games, multi-layered stamp printing and more! With experiences for all ages, the festival invites everyone to immerse themselves in the rich traditions of Mid-Autumn through interactive, family-friendly experiences.
Lantern Making
Time: 6.30pm – 9.30pm, admission every
30 minutes, last admission at 9pm
With over 2,000 years of history and rich significance in Chinese festivities,
lanterns were used to illuminate celebrations and signify new beginnings.
Make your glowing lanterns at our craft station and enjoy a magical night-time
stroll around Chinese Garden this Mid-Autumn Festival.
Hanfu Dress-up & Photo Experience
(Supported by Murong Hanfu)
Step
into the elegance of traditional hanfu at the Bonsai Garden, pose for a
complimentary photo, and take home a printed keepsake to commemorate your
visit to the Chinese Garden.
Heritage Discovery Game Stations
Embark on a fun-filled
journey through the Bonsai Garden with our Heritage Discovery Game Stations.
With three hands-on games, you'll discover the beauty of Chinese garden
design, the history of our Chinese Garden, and the cultural stories behind
mooncakes from different Chinese dialect groups. Perfect for visitors of
all ages!
Multi-layered Stamp Printing Fun
Drop by our activity
station and have fun with multi-layered stamp printing! Create and take
home a multi-layered stamp print postcard featuring a scene from the timeless
Legend of Madame White Snake or the iconic building of Wan Qing Yuan.
Let’s Celebrate with Uncle Ting: Mid-Autumn Festival
Kids, pick up a free activity booklet to discover more about the Mid-Autumn
Festival! Join Uncle Ting to learn more about the legend of Chang’e and
popular customs associated with this festival through a series of fun activities,
including lantern making! Activity booklets are given out one per child
on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.
