The Roving Art Studio transforms the festival grounds into a living gallery, showcasing nature-inspired masterpieces from the National Collection.
Get hands-on with an activity inspired by Georgette Chen's Still Life (Moon Festival Table) โ draw a self-portrait or your own family's special celebration. Then head to our Lotus in a Breeze photo spot, where you can "paint" the scene just like an artist and see the park's flora through a whole new lens.

Arts Activities (19 and 20 Sep)
Get hands-on with a range of craft activities across both days! On 19 and 20 September, collage a personal journal page from everyday scraps in Junk Journalling, or hand-stitch your very own stress doll to take home. Returning on 20 September are three additional activities โ punch-needle your way into a bold textile piece, swirl pigments into one-of-a-kind marbled paper coasters, or weave a delicate satin ornament to hang from your lantern. Every activity is designed to be tactile, meditative, and deeply satisfying. No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to make something with your hands.
Performances (20 Sep)
As the sun sets over the lake, the stage comes alive. Kick off the evening with enchanting puppet storytelling โ handcrafted characters weaving tales of community and wonder for all ages. Next, the New Gen Wind Symphony takes over with a heartfelt, genre-spanning set that's homegrown and full of energy. The puppets return for a second showing with a brand new story, before a live busker closes the night with an intimate, unhurried set under the open sky. The perfect end to an evening of making, magic, and togetherness.

Two delightful performances await the little ones! Sweetheart the Clown and Baby Pinky kick things off with a whirlwind of fun โ expect laugh-out-loud ventriloquism, interactive magic, and balloon sculpting packed into a 30-minute show full of audience interaction and delightful surprises. Then, Sweetheart returns with Ting Tong the panda, who loves to dance and sing silly songs that kids can grooooove to in a mass dance!

New Gen Wind Symphony
New Gen Wind Symphony was founded in November 2014 by twelve passionate youths, led by Ethan Peck. What began as informal jam sessions grew into a full community band, driven by the enthusiasm of founding Music Director Dorean Tan. In January 2017, the band officially joined Taman Jurong Community Arts and Culture Club as an Interest Group. Today, under the direction of Vincent Lee, the band is dedicated to inspiring young musicians and bringing music to the community โ guided by their motto, "Forging Friendships Through Music."

ArtsEverywhere @ CDC brings quality arts performances and experiences to the heartlands, making the arts a natural and accessible part of everyday neighbourhood life. From large-scale performances by established arts groups to intimate street performances by local artists, there is something for everyone regardless of age, background or familiarity with the arts.
19 Sep Programme
Two exciting performances await at Jurong Lake Gardens on 19 September. Open Score Project opens the evening with The People's Orchestra โ weaving music from various cultures that shapes our multifaceted identity, from the Chinese erhu to the oud and wooden flutes, as Eastern folk instruments and Western strings resonate congruently with one another in a celebration of unity within diversity for Mid-Autumn Festival, a season of reunion and renewal. Later in the evening, The DanceSport Academy transforms the neighbourhood into a communal ballroom with Tea Dance: As We Cha Cha & Jive โ taking its cue from the beloved 90s community song "As We Walk to the Right", inviting residents to move together as they learn Cha Cha and Jive.
26 Sep Programme
Two exciting performances await at Jurong Lake Gardens on 26 September. Kenchana Jazz, led by crooner Rudy Djoe, presents Wayang Mobil: Moonlight Romance โ a warm and elegant journey through timeless melodies, familiar favourites and songs of romance. With the spirit of "LAST TIME or DULU-DULU," the performance revisits songs that have endured through the years, blending jazz and Latin rhythms with Malay, English and Chinese songs alongside beloved regional classics, bringing together music across cultures and generations in a relaxed and heartfelt celebration. Later in the evening, ScRach MarcS takes over with an interactive showcase exploring how movement responds to other art forms, bringing together two exciting pairings โ Breaking x Silat by Sean & Hafeez, and Hip Hop x Beatboxing by Aryll & Terence โ before wrapping up with a community jam for everyone, led by emcee Alif.
FRINGE ACTIVITY: Communal Graphic Score by PLAY!
Music is as much visual and physical as it is auditory. We take everyday objects that remind us of home (chairs, tables, lamps) and turn them into graphic scores. Placed around JLG with paints and markers next to them, people are invited to respond to the music/dance of the event and create their own communal score.
COLLECT: South West Limited Edition Collectible by South West CDC
The South West Limited Edition Collectible is a collaboration with local artist Elisa Liu. At each ArtsEverywhere @ CDC event, we will distribute one unique card. There are six collectible cards inspired by recognisable landmarks and cultural icons across the South West District. Once you've collected all six cards, share a photo of your completed collection on Instagram and use the hashtags #SWIcons, #SouthWestCDC and #ArtsEverywhereCDC for a chance to receive a mystery gift. About Open Score Project
Open Score Project (OSP), founded by Gildon Choo in 2018, is a syncretic music ensemble comprising musicians from different cultural backgrounds and musical influences. OSP aims to pioneer sound that reflects Singapore's identity and cultural diversity, drawing inspiration upon the various musical traditions of Singapore in its original works and arrangements. OSP believes in bringing people together through music-making, and advocates for bridging people of different cultural landscapes through artistic exchanges and collaboration. OSP's most recent works include "A Sea of Stories", a commission by the Esplanade, "Palindrome", a highlight of A Date with Tradition in conjunction with Singapore Night Festival, and featured as a main act in Chingay Parade from 2023 to 2025. OSP has represented Singapore in arts festivals in countries such as Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and China.

Adelyn Koh
A multitalented performer and LaSalle-trained musician, Adelyn sings, plays the drums, ukulele, and piano, and has performed as a pianist for Mediacorp's President's Star Charity. Beyond music, she is carving out a career in voice acting, lending her voice to animation, video games, and mascots. With her boundless enthusiasm and versatility, the world is truly her stage.

Mediacorp Lantern Trail ๆฐไผ ๅช็ฏ็ฌผๅญๆธธไผ is a family-centric Mid-Autumn Festival celebration that brings together multiple generations to reconnect with the rich traditions of Chinese culture. Set against the scenic backdrop of Jurong Lake Gardens, the event aims to rekindle the joy of lantern processions and preserve a cherished cultural heritage for future generations.
Participants will embark on a symbolic lantern trail, carrying illuminated lanterns through the gardens before gathering at the finale screening area for the premiere of Lil Wild.
Lil Wild in the Big City is a new animated kidsโ series by Mediacorp about a lovable group of animal friends navigating friendship, big feelings and growing up together. In this Moon Lantern Festival episode, Meep stays up past his bedtime and turns into one very cranky little tiger, leaving his friends to help him calm down before the celebrations go off track.
